Openreach has adopted 'communication' because it is at the heart of everything we do including our social responsibility programme which supports the work of I CAN.

Openreach recognises how critical good communication skills are to every young child as they start school. Our partnership with I CAN has seen the development of a range of resources for families, including; Chatter Matters DVD, presented by Dr Tanya Byron and Ready Steady Talk!, a fun filled activity book designed to get children ready for pre-school (which you can order from www.ican.org.uk)

Openreach looks after the wires, fibres and cables that connect homes and businesses to the local telephone exchange - where the chosen Communications Providers’ national network takes over.
